Biography: Claude Pissarro was born into a painting dynasty, starting with his grandfather, Camille Pissarro, and continuing with his father, Paul Emille, two of the most celebrated French impressionist. Pissarro studied art from the masterpieces of the Louvre and Jeu de Paume, as well as learning from his father. The landscapes and harbor scenes of Claude Pissarro reflect both the classic styles inherited from his father and grandfather, combined with an avant-guard style inherent to his generation. Claude Pissarro lives and works in Normandy, France, where he creates his beautiful paintings, some people claim surpass even the work of his esteemed family.
